LIFE TEEN Covecrest exists as a place of rest and recreation for the purpose of establishing a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and those people that are in your church, group, or school. Great food, facilities, and recreation activities matter little if this ministry and the people that enter these gates are not continually covered in prayer. God has instructed us to pray without ceasing and we believe that without prayer God could not change lives here at Life Teen Covecrest.
GIVING THROUGH PRAYER - St. Paul tells us in Romans that we are one body in Christ and each member of the body has a unique function. Our giving ministry is built upon that very principal. Committing to pray for this ministry during a specific hour of the day on a particular day of the week is just as important as volunteering your time or donating from your finances. The purpose of our prayer ministry is to have every hour of the camp day covered in prayer for the guests, volunteers, and staff of Covecrest. We believe the Holy Spirit has worked in amazing ways over the years and a continual committed body of prayer warriors will allow Him to work that much more.

We believe that God designed leadership as an opportunity to serve and not an occasion to be served. We acknowledge every volunteer as servant leaders. They are an integral part of the Life Teen Covecrest mission and are critical to the delivery of effective ministry.
God has given Covecrest the opportunity and responsibility to ensure that service at the camp is a spiritual and personal growth experience for all volunteers. Volunteering is a ministry of service to others and is itself an act of worship and service to our Lord. Consequently, the act of enabling others in their service has become a spiritual endeavor for Covecrest.
We are now actively seeking willing servants among youth, college, and other church groups to join us in serving the Lord at Life Teen Covecrest. We have the ability to take small overnight groups of 5-10 on the weekends and large groups of 20-30 on week days during our retreat season running from mid-August until the end of May.
Various jobs might include serving guests at meal time, assisting in small construction and remodel projects, and just about anything else that enhances the experience of the guests. Our focus is always on serving as Christ served and we can assist any group leaders with preparing bible studies that focus on servant leadership.
