Missionary Sponsor Program:
We understand that as a college student you need to provide for yourself during the summertime, so we are prepared to help you be successful. Since this is truly a mission experience, you need to fully treat it as one. Part of your mission will be finding prayer partners who will support you spiritually with prayers and financially with donations. In any mission, you need to find people who will commit to offer prayers for you everyday through daily Mass, a rosary, a chaplet, a holy hour or whatever source they can offer. In return you will bring them and their families with you in prayer.
Once you find those committed to prayer then you will find those that will support you financially. You will find financial supporters who will tithe small and large amounts so you can reach your goal of $700 raised. The majority of your fundraising goal must be outside of your immediate family. Life Teen will help you by providing letter templates and donation cards that you can send your extended family, friends, parishes, etc. in order to invite others into your mission and the mission of Life Teen. Life Teen will also match the amount that you raise from your supporters up to $700. Whatever you raise in addition to the matching funds from Life Teen will be given to you at the end of your mission. For example, if you raise $700, Life Teen will match that $700 and give you a check for $1400 at the end of your mission. We know that this is not as much as you might make, but the experience and training of the mission will provide a great avenue for the Lord to continue to work for the rest of your life.
