Where we've been
Since Life Teen purchased Tepeyac from the Diocese of Phoenix, constant construction and improvements have been underway:
- Sixteen cabins have been remodeled
- Two state-of-the-art Challenge courses were built; a High and Low Ropes Course and a 60 ft. Tango Climbing Tower.
- A lighted Sports Court was installed in honor of legendary Phoenix Suns's Coach Cotton Fitzsimmons.
- The Cardinal Lodge on the north side of camp has an expanded front deck with plenty of comfortable seating.
- A sand volleyball court was built off the front of the Cardinal Lodge.
- Tepeyac is now outfitted with a paintball course and full gear for campers.
How you can help:
1. Volunteer - We greatly appreciate any volunteer service, as there are always plenty of projects to be done. We have painting, tree trimming, downed tree removal, electrical work, small construction projects, old building tear-down, cleaning, and many other projects to choose from. Contact us if you can come for a few hours or a few days, by yourself or with a group. We would love to have you!
2. Donate - We welcome your donations of cash, machinery or equipment, office or chapel supplies, and furniture. Our current “wish list” includes:
- 2 Ice Machines
- 2 Bunn commercial coffee makers
- 1 TV/DVD/VCR
- 2 media carts
- A snow-blower
- A 10kw generator
3. Pray - Please pray for the Church, for Life Teen, and for the work we are doing to bring teens closer to Christ. Join us in praying for the young people who are here on retreat every weekend, and those who come during the summer.
